A Note About Astrological References
(page divider)

As you explore the Hall of Hunks, you will notice that on each artist's page, there is a section with both a listing and a short discussion of his astrological affiliation. This is mostly for my own amusement, and springs from my interest in the subject, but I feel it incumbent upon me to point out that "interest" does not necessarily equal "belief."

I don't run my life by my horoscope--I don't even read it except on very infrequent occasions--and I am a thorough skeptic when it comes to astrological predictions about the future. What does fascinate me about astrology, however, is the personality-typing aspect, at least in part because I find it a useful tool for character sketches and development in the stories I write. I keep notes on the affiliations of most of my major characters, so that whenever I reach a point where I'm uncertain as to how they might react to a particular situation, I can read over their sign's profile and see if it generates any ideas. That's about as seriously as I take the whole thing, though; I'll admit to looking up most of my family and close friends, and there are enough inconsistencies there to prove that while a personality profile may well touch on a prominent trait or two, it's hardly the whole of the story for anyone. And, since my knowledge of all the men listed in this part of the site has necessarily come through the distorting lens of the media, I think it is safe to say that the accuracy of any observations I might make based on astrological data is iffy, at best--but it is still fun to speculate.

So, with all that in mind, my sources for information on the subject are the following:
